Early Reviews on Year One

So Jack Black and Michael Cera return to the big screen this weekend in their new comedy “Year One.” The project was directed by Harold Ramis, a legend in his own right. I did say to go see this movie in my June 2009 Lineup Post The Butterfly Effect 2 dvd . However, early reviews on the film coming out of the world of critics is not so good. In fact, it’s just straight bad. I like Jack Black and will still see this movie, but here is just a couple of reviews from the powers that be.
Roger Ebert – “Harold Ramis is one of the nicest people I’ve met in the movie business, and I’m so sorry “Year One” happened to him.” Click here for the rest of his review.
Kyle Smith of New York Post says – “Its script isn’t worth the papyrus it’s inscribed on.” Click here for his full review.
Check this out for a complete list of critic reviews.

this actually looks real dumb to me too. But I don’t think Jack Black is funny either

@Candice Jack Black is always over the top and over acts, but I do like some of his movie. This looks ridiculously dumb, but maybe it will be a dumb funny movie. I’ll let you know.
Just saw this move, I think everyone understood that it would be extremely dumb. And that it was, but I would be lying if I said i wasn’t cracking up. This was definitely a moronic movie but it’s entertaining and keeps you laughing, worth seeing if you like dumb funny.
@Scott This clearly was supposed to be a dumb comedy, but it took it beyond normal. I love a lot of dumb comedies but this just had nothing. Other than a few lines everything just fell.
