Corporate Affairs video “The Hangover” – Four buddies head to Vegas for a bachelor party, each take a shot of Jaeger, begin a night of shenanigans, wake up the next morning and don’t remember a single thing.  They soon realize one of their buddies is missing and they continue to spend the rest of the day piecing their night back together in order to find him.  Trust me this is NOT “Dude Where’s My Car.” This movie is far cooler and a lot more vulgar.

Zach Galifiankis plays an absolutely hilarious character in the groom’s brother-in-law Alan.  This movie has him in his first major role,  along leading characters Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms.  I think he has the potential to really be a huge Hollywood funnyman.  His gimic is a more pathetic, vulgar, and silly version of Will Ferrell.  It’s really fresh and something the Hollywood has been missing of late.  Additionally, he has some incredible lines that we will be saying for a while.   And remember, “It’s a SATCHEL, not a purse.”

A comedy with a fairly overdone plot line, The Hangover offers a different touch to the bachelor party movie.  Many recent comedies have failed to possess that unique element that made Old School and Anchorman timeless.  The characteristics are primarily unforgetable lines and rewatchability.  This movie is not as good as Old School or Anchorman, but I think that it has some potential to reach high heights in the classic comedy genre.  Apparently I’m not the only one, the sequel has already been green lit.
