Snap Review of Year One

Year One was released this past weekend and and this summer comedy Journey Into Fear film was thoughtless, pointless, and fell flat. Starring Jack Black

(Zeh) and Michael Cera (Oh), the premise is about their journey after the two are forced to leave their village because Jack Black eats the forbidden fruit. They encounter many different villages and people along the way and get into all types of trouble. When their loves in their old village becomes slaves, they go about saving them. This movie was awful, not funny, lacked any humor you would desire and was a waste of time.

Jack Black is over the top like usual and Cera is getting old with the same humor and dry lines that worked great in past films.

Watch the trailer, that’s the funniest lines in the movie and the rest is dead. The cameos, that included Paul Rudd, that normally work in other movies with this crop of actors also go wrong. It just did not work here.
