Bruno Interviews a Terrorist

WASSSS UPPPPP….I’M BRUNOOOOO.
This Friday July 10th, the new Sacha Baron Cohen film, Bruno, opens up worldwide. Cohen has said publicly that he has tried to out do Borat in this film. I know it’s tough to believe, especially since Borat was pretty far out there, but if anyone go beyond Borat, it’s the guy who actually played him.
Well, according to an interview with David Letterman, Cohen says that he interviewed, as Bruno, an actual terrorist. When they first pitched the idea to the studio, they executives were thrilled with the idea. They quickly responded back to Cohen, asking him who should they cast to play a terrorist. Then he told them no, that he wants to interview an actual download The Wraith dvd
terrorist, not some actor portraying one. So what did they do, well they headed to the West Bank. Wait, what?
If this is actually true, then Cohen is completely out of his mind. I’m really not sure if he is messing around or not, but I guess we will just have to go see the film to see if it’s true. Would Cohen really put his safety in jeopardy like that? How could the terrorist allow himself to be filmed like that? How did Cohen, as an extremely gay and flamboyant Bruno, actually survive an interview with a terrorist? Well, I’m not sure.
Check out Cohen on Letterman as he explains how he interviewed the terrorist.
Will you be seeing Bruno this weekend?
