Quentin Tarantino
is the talk of the town this week after his Inglourious Basterds debuted this weekend and I’m sure it will easily be the #1 movie of the week even though it was long. Reviews of Inglourious Basterds
has been mainly solid, only to help his glorified persona many in the movie industry have given him. He seems to be the hit director of the Gen Y demographic and after some big hits using his unique direction and shooting, is continuing to push forward with interesting projects. On our Fan Page Leui ting jin ging dvdrip The Hive dvd we had a nice discussion with some Banter friends about their thoughts on Tarantino. Many consider him to be great, while others view him as overrated, but that’s a discussion for another post.
Either way to boost his name and get some buzz he did a video interview naming his top 20 favorite movies since 1992. The list features some movies you would expect although some I’ve never even heard of.
Here’s the full list in handy text form:
Battle Royale
Anything Else
Audition
Blade
Boogie Nights
Diana: Last Days of a Princess rip
Dazed & Confused
Dogville
Fight Club
Fridays
The Host
Eldorado dvd
Atlantic City dvd
The Insider
Joint Security Area
Lost In Translation
The Matrix
Memories of Murder
Police Story 3
Shaun of the Dead
Buried Alive hd
Speed
Team America
Unbreakable
While some of these movies I agree on like The Matrix, Fight Club. Clearly these are not just what he things are the best movies, but more of his favorites. The one movie that I’m shocked to see on this list in Unbreakable. I honestly almost walked out of that movie when I saw it. It was so slow, boring, and they did one flashback scene I completely thought they messed up big time with and made it confusing. M. Night Shyamalam is such an overrated director, again a rant for another post but he is total crappola. Why Tarantino put that movie over his one hit The 6th Sense Beneath Still Waters download I’ll never know, but it sounds like a move Mr. Tarantino would do.
What do you think of this list? What movies would you remove?

neat, but i wish found out exactly why he felt the way did about each film.
NETFLIX HERE I COME.
@Dan Agree, would be nice if it was explained more. I also have added some of those movies to my Netflix list. Let me know what you think if you watch any.
Wow, what a list! We’re just happy he included Shaun of the Dead!
@Cinemaobssed So am I, I really love that movie even though most people never heard of it. Something about a almost mock zombie movie that actually is kind of scary makes it great. Plus I’m a big Simon Pegg fan. Looking forward to Zombieland because it looks like a similar style.
