Snap Review of The Collector

Horror freaks everywhere will love The Collector, a sick and twisted killer movie where it’s all about torture, blood, and gore to the extremes. The Collector is about this handyman who scopes out this help trying to wait till the family goes on vacation so he can steal a diamond from them. When he breaks into the house at night, he begins to unlock the safe, only to hear someone else already there, that some one else is The Collector. This crazy masked killer has boobie trapped the entire house with these deadly traps. He finds the family was taken and is being tortured, so he tries to help the family who he in turn is also trying to rob. The killer takes the family, and it’s up to the guy to try to save the remaining person in the family, a little girl. With blood and guts, and a terrible script with poor acting, this movie misses in a lot of ways. Has the intensity and gore of Saw and Hostel without the intriguing story. If you are in it for just the torture and blood, then you will be amused, but as a full movie, this misses entirely.

I am so gonna check this one out. I was surprised that no one’s really been talking about it.
@Candice If you are twisted and like the blood, guts, and torture horror that I do, then it’s a fun movie that will make you cringe multiple times. But as a full movie, it’s bad. Bad script, acting, no plot or point, just pure torture and killing.
I really liked The Collector. But it depends on what your taste it. Like I think if you love the Saw series (like I do), then you would like The Collector, since it’s written by the same two guys.
Anyone who thinks there is no plot or point… needs to rewatch the movie… or you just can’t wrap their heads around it… but its brilliant
