3 Must Watches in my Halloween Movie Marathon

Halloween is here this weekend and while I do not get into the holiday the way some people do, I enjoy watching hot girls dress in tight leather outfits combined with massive amounts of alcohol, and of course the movies that are associated with the time. For me like most guys, my costume will consist of something thought of last minute, quick and cheap with a $25 max. Even though society tells me I can’t trick or treat anymore, I will never be too old to watch some Halloween classic movies as the day approaches.
Nothing beats laying on the couch under a blanket in the crisp cool weather watching some good old Halloween movies. Here are 3 movies that I have either watched this week or will be watching in my own little Halloween movie marathon I wanted to share with everyone. I think they are standard Halloween movies, at least for me. And even though there are plenty more deserving movies that should be on this list or have been watched in the past, these 3 are musts for me for my Halloween movie marathon.
1. Hocus Pocus
A singing Bette Midler and a hot tight body in a corset with loads of make-up covering that horse face of Sarah Jessica Parker and the chick from Ladybugs makes this a must watch. I remember when this movie came out back in 93 when I was just a little Banterer and have loved this movie ever since. Anytime this movie is on ABC Family or another station I have to stop what I am doing and need to watch. This is a Halloween classic and will be for years to come.
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
A Tim Burton classic, the first of his cartoon movies out of his twisted mind. I remember watching this in theaters, then having it on tape, and last year had to buy the expensive blu ray disc when it came out just so I could get my once a year fix of this Halloween classic. The creepy soundtrack and Marilyn Manson tune make Jack the skeleton and everyone in Halloweentown another classic out of the year 1993. Updated on blu ray, I’m telling you this is a must get if you have a player. The picture looks so clear and watching it on my big screen last year made me feel like the little boy who once watched it in theaters. I look forward to watching this tonight. Cube psp
3. Monster Squad
Not a 93 movie, and not one that was part of my growing up, but a classic in its own. This movie takes corny 80′s classic and Halloween scares to give us a classic. Although considered a wannabe Goonies, I believe this movie stands on its own and lines like “The wolfman has knards” and “My names not fat kid, it’s Lawrence” keep me cracking up and coming back for more. The story of a group of friends trying to hunt down the legendary monsters that Dracula has brought to life to take over the world is classic. This movie is trying to be made into a remake updated version and I hope that never happens. This movie will be watched directly after Nightmare Before Christmas.
Now while I won’t be having any candy corn which I hate, I will be having my share of candy and well beer. But before any of the festivities I will be enjoying my yearly classics, some time to relax and feel like a little boy again.
What movies do you watch this time of year for Halloween?

Don’t forget a Charlie Brown Halloween, Halloween, and The Shining
@Candice Wow, I have not seen Charlie Brown Halloween in probably a decade and still remember it. Classic.
Classics for me have to be the entire Halloween series (no matter how bad it got after the first), American Werewolf in London, The Shining and Last House on the Left. I love Halloween.
Am I the only person in the world who doesnt like Nightmare Before Xmas?
Garth Wayne´s last blog ..Things To See In The UK – The London Marathon
@Garth Yes, everyone loves it, ha. I agree it can get annoying at times, but a once a year watch is fine.
