Snap Review of Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day

It’s been 10 years since the cult classic vigilante movie Boondock Saints
Batman & Robin video . The MacManus brothers took down the mob in Boston in a highly controversial case around Boston, some thought of them as heroes, others as murderers. Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day
Mission: Impossible III movie
takes place years after the first movie ends when the brothers are hiding out in Ireland with their father. A local priest in Boston was killed to lure the brothers back. They vow to get revenge on everyone who was involved with the murder. They have a new sidekick, new help from the inside, but same hate for criminals.
I wanted this movie to be the same one as the poster I saw on every guys wall in college, but it was not. Clearly they did not have the budget, and outside of the main 2 actors, the rest were poor and their characters underdeveloped. The story line was the same, basically forcing an excuse for the brothers to return for more killings. The new comic relief sidekick they brought in was a poor Mexican Deuce Bigalow and the main villian was a D-list wannabe Al Pacino who does impressions at Bar Mitzah’s on the weekend. It was that bad, but you are not seeing this movie for acting you are seeing it for acting. There are some cool fight scenes that resemble the best of the first movie but the overall movie just did not cut it. As much as I wanted this to succeed, don’t expect the same cult status for this movie.
