Pee Wee Herman, our beloved creepy guy next door friend who also invaded our homes as children with his quirky laugh, funny acts, and even funnier outfit may be back again.  Paul Reubens, the actor who plays Pee Wee Herman is making his voice known that he wants to bring back the character for a Pee Wee’s Playhouse movie.  He would leave the playhouse and get involved with some crazy adventures that would make for one funny movie.

Paul Reubens who is 57 by the way and recently most known for being in the tabloids for masterbating in a movie theater and also caught later with child porn is making a comeback.

Anyone see the irony in a man caught for having child porn making a child’s playhouse movie?

Reubens says the script is ready and just about all the pieces are put together to make this happen and actually go into production.  I recently saw him on the Conan O’Brien show as the first guest and it looked like all Conan wanted to do was stand up, and curse out his production manager who messed up with whatever normal fun guest they were supposed to have and had Reubens as a back up.  He was not only terrible, but creepy and at 57 clearly he has nothing else going on and is trying to relive off of some former glories from the 80′s to try to make another buck, because my guess is he’s broke.

I don’t want to see this happen again, and I liked the first movie (even though the short clown scene scared me as child).  I know it seems like I am hating on a past TV legend, but this clearly should not happen for a lot of reasons.
