@Jordan Yea that's quite the drive. Maybe not worth a 3 and a half hour drive, but if really bored one weekend, may be worth the nostalgia trip.

@Craig: Yeah! It does sound like fun times. :)

I so far can't find any type of those theaters (whether it has or doesn't have a dinner and a movie) near me. The only ones I could find were pretty far away from where I live. (about 3 1/2 hours to be specific!) I guess I'll have to wait for a day when I'll be free of everything and take a trip to one of these theaters and see how it feels. Judging from your description, it sounds pretty interesting. :D

@Jordan They are hard to find, but maybe there is one not too far from where you live. Not only is it a cool experience, but it's really nice because the chairs are bigger and more comfortable and you sit at a table opposed to a cramped row. You can get drinks and food served to you like a restaurant. It really is dinner and a movie, fun times.

I've been to a second-run theater before. :)

It was actually not too far from my current high school, but, unfortunately, due to the fact that they weren't getting enough people to come to the theater, it closed down and was replaced for a parking lot for Best Buy! D:<

The theater itself was pretty nice, it wasn't crummy at all. It was small, but it had a nice long concession stand and a room with an arcade in it.

The theaters themselves were cool, because unlike the other theaters around here, the screens actually had curtains that came up at the beginning of the show.

I only saw two and a half movies there; Lilo & Stitch, Looney Tunes: Back in Action and half of Spider-man (I was still a kid, and I was pretty much terrified of the intense action sequences), but I would've loved to have seen more there today. Too bad it's gone... :`(

I saw this three times during its run in June-July. I cannot wait for the DVD to come out! It really is the most quotable movie since Superbad.
