I remember when I was 10 years old and spending winter break in a joint time share with my family and family friends in Vermont.  One night we decided to go to the movies to see this brand new Pixar creation called Toy Story.  Not knowing much about this brand new company, movie really, and CGI to boot, it ended up becoming a movie I loved, and one I still do.  The movie can easily be called a children’s classic and introduced a brand new type style of movie to viewers.  This may have been the first of its kind, and certainly was not the last.  With the recent success of other movies like it, the genre is here to stay.

Not only is it here to stay, but the classic loveable characters of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang will be back for a third time.  This upcoming June will bring Toy Story 3 and in 3D to take on the new rage that is closely becoming a standard, especially after the success of Avatar.

Although Pixar is keeping the details about the story under wraps right now, they recently released a short snippet introducing a brand new character to the gang.

Mr. Picklepants.

Screenrant points out that there is no official word on what role the character will play in the movie.  Timothy Dalton will be voicing this new character which will be a hedgehog.

This is one of the most anticipated movies of 2010 and surely will be a huge summer blockbuster come next June.  Being a big fan of the first two and a fan of the majority of movies like this, I will certainly let my inner child out and be heading to see this.
