Later today I’ll be bearing witness to David Slade’s Twilight Saga: Eclipse (must we use excess titling?), but for now we’d like to know what you, the reader, personally thought of the third entry into the Twilight series of films.

Only seven months since previous New Moon dropped last November, the Eclipse novel has been called one of the best among fans of the series. Could they actually be right this time? Critics have responded equally (for critics, anyway), the flick being dubbed a 52% on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing. Basically being called “watchable”, and not too much more. Yeah, New Moon and Twilight were terrible, and my hopes aren’t that high for Eclipse. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a built-in fan base already for the movie. Tough luck for M. Night Shyamalan this weekend as well, his Last Airbender dropping just tomorrow. Don’t see any of that $280 million budget being made back these next four days.
