Syfy Sponsors America’s First Outdoor Digital 3D Screening

Syfy will be sponsoring the Brooklyn Bridge Park, Movies With A View series, for the third consecutive year.   In addition to making it possible for the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy to bring the beloved annual series to New Yorkers, this year Syfy will take it one step further by hosting America’s first ever outdoor Real 3D movie screening on Thursday, July 15th – presenting the box office smash Monsters vs. Aliens. In addition to the special July 15th presentation, the Series’  schedule will also include the following:

The 2010 Movies with a View schedule:

  • July 8 – Annie Hall
  • July 15 – Monsters vs. Aliens
  • July 22 — The Big Lebowski
  • July 29 – Rear Window
  • August 5 – Brokeback Mountain
  • August 12 – Dreamgirls
  • August 19 – The Blues Brothers
  • August 26 – Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
  • September 2 – viewer’s choice

In conjunction with this 3D screening, Time Out New York will be releasing their first ever 3D issue and including a pair of Syfy branded 3D glasses in each issue . Readers will have to use the 3D glasses to read the feature story, view the cover, and read several other pages in the issue.

In the words of Larry David….Prettyyyyyy Prettttyyyyyy good.  Sounds like a really fun event, I love outdoor movie events and this one is bigger than most.
