Predators is about a group of warriors from all different backgrounds who are put on this strange alien planet as prey for the merciless alien creatures to hunt known as Predators.  No one knows why they were there, who each other is, or how to get off, but they know they are being hunted so these aliens can practice their tactics and hunting strategy as well as new weapons.  The movie doesn’t offer a lot of story background, and I think that makes it more suspenseful and engaging.  There is a lot of excitement and sections of short scares mixed with fun action sequences that keep you on the edge of your seat.  This is a fun summer thrill ride for any sci-fi fan, and Adrien Brody does a good job as Royce, the sold called leader of the group.
