Did you know that British actor Henry Cavill was just cast as the title role in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ upcoming tentpole film, SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL? Incidentally, Cavill is represented by CAA’s Michael Cooper, who also represents Josh Brolin (among other young soon-to-be superstars like Charlie Hunnam and Michael Fassbender). This talented, aggressive agent has painstakingly guided their careers from the ground up by finding perfect fit projects for his clients.
Prolific comic book adapter-for-the-screen, David Goyer, penned the SUPERMAN screenplay with Jonathan Nolan (who wrote BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK NIGHT). Jonathan’s brother, Christopher Nolan, will produce the film with Zack Snyder (WATCHMEN, 300) directing. WB and Legendary love those guys.
Needless to say, this project is huge, and Cavill’s career has just possibly been made. Super-agent Michael Cooper does it again…
