THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU (especially since it stars Matt Damon) reminds me of the BOURNE series and Robert Ludlum, so: Did you know that there is a production company with a deal at Universal whose primary purpose is to produce film adaptations of Robert Ludlum’s 25 novels?

The company, called Captivate Entertainment and established in 2009, is headed by former ICM agent Ben Smith and has some exciting projects in the works, despite the fact that Matt Damon has declined to star in the 4th BOURNE installment.  Next year, Universal will release THE PARSIFAL MOSAIC, directed by Ron Howard, and THE MATARESE CIRCLE, starring Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington and directed by David Cronenberg.

A whole bunch of secret agent stuff… shocking.
