A new clip from God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, the rock documentary of the famous (and infamous) musician on his tortured path to sobriety which just premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival, has just been released. And if you think you have a dysfunctional family, then you might want to take a look below. The 90-second clip shows Ozzy’s eldest children, Jessica and Louis, reflecting on the question, “Do you think he was a good parent?” After recounting memories of forgotten birthdays and drunken car crashes, both children seem a little reluctant to say, “No.”
Aside from famous family drama (which, let’s be honest, who doesn’t enjoy a good dose of once in a while?), what this clip is offering is a quick honest glimpse into a complicated, and not so lucid, man who has not only drastically affected the music industry as a whole, but also every member of his family, even those you didn’t even know about, even those not featured on the MTV reality show, The Osbournes.
As well as featuring interviews from his immediate family, including Sharon, Jack, Kelly, and Aimie Osbourne, the documentary also boasts interviews from Ozzy’s brothers and sisters, with the intention of showing the viewer a truthful account of the difficult and emotional journey of one man’s path to sobriety.
You can watch the clip below. God Bless Ozzy Osbourne is currently playing and will be showing two more times at the Tribeca Film Festival. For tickets and information please click here.
