With Father’s Day just around the corner I decided to take a look back at some of the best movie dads of all time. After looking through countless lists compiled by other bloggers I found myself stumped. While all of the listed dads were great in their own right, none carried with them a quote so memorable it was forever associated with them. That is until I happened to find ‘Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back’ playing on television. Not only is this my favorite of the series, but it also happens to boast the most memorable line in the franchise. That’s when it hit me, what better movie dad was there than Darth Vader? He went from being the biggest villain to our biggest hero by the final entry and he also speaks the line that will forever be associated with the Star Wars films. “Luke, I am your father.” A huge game changer in the series, and a truly epic moment in film!
