While most people are probably thinking of a different superhero this weekend (see review here), the teaser trailer to the highly anticipated Superman film ‘Man of Steel’ was released today, and boy is it super. I have to confess, I’m not the biggest fan of Superman, he’s just too clean-cut and perfect for me (see Bryan Singer’s ‘Superman Returns’), but with Christopher Nolan producing this film I have very high hopes. This is exactly what a teaser trailer should be like, very little footage is shown, it’s more of a montage of scenes with a voice-over by Russel Crowe (who plays villain Jor-El). The film looks real and gritty, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Nolan produced superhero film.
