October is here but man was it hot this weekend.  Not only that it’s Oktoberfest so go out and get your drink on you beer lovers out there, I know I will be.  Hollywood have been very bland for the past few weeks as the end of the summer tends to slow down and see some mediocre if best releases.  This weekend changed things around a bit with Zombieland for those who are zombie movie lovers.  Here are some good reads, tips, and gossip from around the net.

Happy father’s day, and although the weather has been up and down for   a bizarre start to the summer, I hope everyone enjoyed a good weekend  with the pop’s.  It’s the longest day of the year, so gear up, have fun, live it up, and spend more time sitting outside reading some great articles from the past week.

A couple of big movies came out this past weekend on the complete opposite sides of the spectrum, but both getting praised by critics in their respective genres.  Up the new Pixar stud and Drag Me From Hell the new classic horror movie.  It was another beautiful weekend, here are some reads through the web you may enjoy.

Memorial Day Weekend has approached us and I hope everyone is having a nice long holiday weekend.  I know I needed it badly and I’m sure all of you are in the same boat.  There is plenty of picnics and bbqing going on around the country but there have also been a ton of blockbusters that have come out already and it’s only May.  Some were hit and misses, more on the latter, what did you think?  It’s shaping up to be a great summer full of a huge array of movies for everyone.  Here are some good reads from around the net for you to enjoy on your day off Monday.

This weekend has so many big things in it, I don’t know where to start or what corny phrase to start with.  I’m heading back from Philly where I went to watch the Mets take on the terrible Phillies, so maybe get your baseball movie

watch on.  The Kentucky Derby is was Saturday  afternoon as well, so hopefully you had some luck on your side.  The Hatton vs. Pac prime time huge megafight was on for all you boxing fans.  And last but not least it was the starting weekend of all the summer blockbusters Pet Sematary full movie

It’s the last weekend in March, otherwise known as the worst month of the year in my opinion.  The weather is erratic and puts everyone in a bad mood teasing them with spring when winter weather is still the norm sometimes.  Hollywood acts like a mom having leftover spaghetti and meatballs for dinner during the week by releasing a bunch of crappy movies that the studios have nothing better to do with them.  There were a lot of good movie reads this past week and more updates about the summer blockbusters that are coming.  Check out some of these articles from around the web.
